A client with a persistent upper respiratory infection develops acute bronchitis and is given a prescription for guaifenesin (Robitussin ac) , an antitussive that contains codeine. Besides the characteristics of the clients cough, which other pertinent assessment finding should the nurse document?
consult pulmunologist for examination and advise on treatment. nomedication without advise sputum for AFB should be done. if negative then treatment should be given as per advise of pulmunologist.
