Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had consulted a doctor before regarding vaginal discharge but I am unable to see him again before I travel. He had explained that it is completely normal and had done tests on two different occasions and received the same result. But it still feels uncomfortable for me and he had prescribed me a pill to deal with it. There’s no smell no itching no pain. I will be seeing a different doctor once I arrive at my destination and want to know possible medications I could take and make sure I don’t get prescribed something that won’t be safe or helpful.
I think you should consider doing a vaginal smear to determine the bacteria or fungus or parasite that is causing the problem. A treatment can't be given without clearing the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
