What Causes Petechiae In Lower Arm After A Throat Surgery?

I just had a throat surgery for reaccuring respritory hpv. Have had 3 other surgerys for this. Now I have noticed that left lower arm and hand has petechie. I am not sure blood pressure cup did this. I also have CVID a immune deficiency. Should I call the hospital about this?

Dear thanks for the question.

Don't worry it is petechial haemorrhage only. As it is only in the arm in which blood pressure cuff was put. It happens when blood pressure cuff is put for longer duration.

You don't need to visit a doctor. If it persists beyond a week, do visit a doctor.
