What Causes Pimple Like Lumps On The Body?

I have developed pimple-like bumps that resemble chicken pox. However, I did have chicken pox as a child. At first I thought it was some form of sun poisoning as I had been exposed to the sun quite a bit over the past week and actually received a sunburn. I then thought perhaps it was bed bug bites due to the fact I have stayed in hotels in the past few days and it was after the hotel stay they started to appear. However, it has been nearly 48 hours and they are still appearing. Any suggestions?
