My ears are plugged, ive never had an ear infection or allergies. It came on about 2 weeks ago, I went to a walk in dr and they said it was allergies. My nose is not running nor my eyes Ive been taking antihistamines but its not getting better. I have noticed after I drink beer it gets worse.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding plugged ear, though you are neither having any ear infection nor have allergy.

Here I would like to say that your both ears are plugged simultaneously therefore possibility is of eustachian tube dysfunction. Second possibility is of impacted wax. So I would like to advice for-

1- Steam inhalation.

2- Anti histaminic and decongestant.

3- Walsalva manuever.

Probably above will help you otherwise you have to consult ENT doctor for examination and treatment.

Regards.
