Hello
welcome to HCM.
Poking pain in the chest is not typical for heart disease. Poking pain can be more related to the stress you are going through. Chest pain from cardiac origin is usually dull constant pain or heaviness/discomfort in the chest. I recommend you to lower your stress by meditation. It may sound as a normal advice but meditation can do wonders. You can start with 10-15 mins per day and increase it up to half an hour a day. It keeps your heart rate under control, lowers stress, cleans the lungs and many more such beneficial effects.
Wishing you good health
