Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have benign positional vertigo and have had it for years due to a car accident. I was laying down doing some exercises to positon my head to get the floaters to stick and I guess I passed out. My son later tried to wake me up and said he couldn t wake me. I slept for 5 hours and then came to. I don t know why I did that? Should I be worried? What could cause that?
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. It seems like Meinere disease. No cure exists for Meniere's disease, but a number of treatments can help reduce the severity and frequency of vertigo episodes. You can use betahistine (vasoserc 24 mg)twice a day to relieve symptoms. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
