What Causes Post Operative Dizziness After A Surgery On Right Parietal Meningioma?
My mother in law is 77yrs. old. She was operated Right parietal meningioma on 1st Feb.2011. She was on Eptionthrice a day. She had post operative dizziness and 3 falls in the week.Test was done and Serum Phenytoin was out of range ie. 40.00. her Eptoin was stopped and Valprol was started. Again she had a mild stroke on 1oth of April,2011. During this period her food intake was very very less. What might be the cause for all these sideaffects? She is known case of Hypertension. Her height is abot 5 feets and weight is about 60 kgs.

I really appreciate your concern, because of the stroke and age and other disease like hypertension such manifestation is very likely, the most important was the operation of meningioma, in neurological disease some sequelea is always there, with the better nursing care, patient could survive up to the normal span of life, hope this information helps you.
