What Causes Pounding Of Heart,sleeplessness And Tiredness?

My heart starts pounding or feeling strange after I eat and other times. I am having difficulty sleeping. I wake up at night with strange sensations--kind of like my legs and back have gone to sleep. I am very tired in the day. Except for this I am very healthy. I exercise nearly every day, and seem to have plenty of energy when I am on my bicycle.

Hi,DEar,thanks for your query to HCM.I studied your query in depth.1-In My opinion the the pounding heart post-meal and the weakness whole day -suggest that you have-to check up the diabetic profiles after consulting your doctor.2-I would suggest you to check your digestion problem with your doctor and get CBC,Stool,and fbs/pps ,which would lead to the causes of the weakness post -meal and difficult sleep.Also you need to check with the thyroid function tests -and the ECG -to rule out any problem in it.-could be due to the -hyper-thyroidosis.5-Hope this would solve your query.6-Wellcome for any more questions on new or this subject also...Have A Good Day..!!
