What Causes Pregnancy Like Symptoms With Negative HPTs?

hello i am 23 years of age i am 160 pounds and am on trileptal and abilify at the moment and have been on implanon for three months and i am feeling pregnant and im very high in emotions i have taken multiple home pregnancy tests and they all came back negative but i still feel as if i may be..no one will listen to me and believe me on it...i have been gaining weight and peeing frequently... i had an abortion done... and i think it failed because i am still thinking like a mother. I am overprotective of my little nephews as if they are my own. I would like to know if it is possible that i could be pregnant again. I look forward to your answer. Thank you for looking over my question.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As per your history, you had fitted contraceptive implant and your repeated pregnancy tests are negative,

3 ) You can rely on pregnancy test, and assume that you are not pregnant.
In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
This will clear all the doubt about your issues.

4 ) In my opinion, your symptoms can be due to PMS - premenstrual syndrome. or due to progesterone implant. I usually suggest to my patients as follows -

Please opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Drink plenty of water in the day. Avoid deep fried foods , bakery pproducts and refined sugars. Avoid substance abuse if any.
Start on Folic acid, long acting form of Vitamin B 6, vitamin E and evening primrose oil supplements on daily basis for at least 3 months.

Although you will not be getting menstrual bleeding because of implant , the group of symptoms that you are getting can be termed as PMS.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
