Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pressure In Chest And Shortness Of Breath With RBBB?
I had an EKg this afternoon and it showed a possible left atrial abnormality , and incomplete Right Bundle Branch block, and probable right ventricular hypertrophy. I have been extremely short of breath and I feel like I have an elephant sitting on my chest. I take 100 mg. of metaprolol ER daily. I do have moderate valve regurgitation. What is going on here?
Hi, Right Bundle branch block with Right Ventricular hypertrophy & LA enlargement is definitely pathological. It might be because of increased valve regurgitation or new valve abnormality. You need to repeat the echo soon and if possible get a stress echo done too. You can follow up after the reports or if you have any more questions. Thanks
