What Causes Pressure In Head And Face Along With Tinnitus During Sleep?

Hello. Yes. :( I have really strange things happen when I try to sleep. My face feels like it s going through terrible pressure as well as my head and I hear loud noises and feel them tingling inside my head. Other times it feels as if I were on a roller coaster.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pressure in head and face along with tinnitus during sleep. The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons , but in your case the symptom are probably due to condition known as bruxism . Well bruxism occur due to may reasons like TMJ problem , malocclusion , wisdom tooth or dental infection . I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper examination. Doctor may order CT scan of joint and OPG to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may give night guard , prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory . Doctor may refer you to orthodontist for proper alignment for teeth. Doctor may alo refer you to oral surgeon for TMJ problem . For now apply warm compresses on TMJ , try to make yourself relax and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for head problem .
