What Causes Pressure In Solarplex Area, Bloating, Acid Reflux And Dizziness?
im 49 always had gas that makes me burp. for the last 15 years I have had vestibular problems and now I have pressure in my solarplex area like a hiatal hernia. I have had 2 endoscopy s been to many different vestibular diagnosis from meniers to an over sensitive vestibular system. I have been reading about the vegas nerve and how it can cause dizziness if irritated. with my stomach history, bloating acid reflux, dizziness I was wondering if I should look into the fact that maybe I have always had a hiatal hernia ant it recently got worse and with my chronic vestibular issue maybe it is my Vegas nerve due to a hiatal hernia that simply got worse due to age??? thoughts?
As your age advances the hiatus become more week and symptoms worsens. You can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Avoid spicy foods and sleep in slightly head up position. In severe cases surgical correction may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
