What Causes Pressure Within Ears While Blowing Nose?

I had pressure within both of my ears. I held my nose and blew and air is coming out of the left ear and feels relieved. When I try to blow out of the right ear it still feels blocked I can feel something clogging the air through the passage way. When I blow from my nose I have to cover my left ear now to do this to prevent the air from escaping.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

These changes in the ear pressure are related to the blockage of eustachi tubes in the nasal cavity. For this reason, I recommend using local nasal drops (decongestant).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
