Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Progressive Back Pain, Hand Tremors And Involuntary Spasms?
Back pain that has been getting progressively worse and simple everyday tasks are becoming unbearable. Even sweeping or standing long enough to make lunch or do dishes is extremely painfully and I have to take multiple breaks. I think I have a pinched nerve. My hands are shakety and I can t control them or keep them still. Lately I have been having involentery spasms and leg, arm, and hand movements. It s getting so bad that I can t hold on to things. On average in an hour I drop or sling at least 4-12 items. I ve dropped drinks entire plates of food, my phone etc. The thing that worries me the most lately is that I can t tell that I am going to the bathroom on myself until it s too late and happening but I can t stop it. What should I do. Is this all related.
While you may have a pinched nerve, your shaking symptoms sound more along the lines of benign essential tremor or Parkinson's. The urinary incontinence is worrisome with the presence of the back pain and you should be evaluated by a neurologist and have a spinal MRI to assess for spinal cord compression.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
