What Causes Prolonged Heavy Menstruation With Mood Swings After Discontinuing Oral Contraceptives?
Hi, I recently went off birth control. I was on it for 2 1/2 years. I had my first period and it lasted about 9 days. Since it ended, I have been experiencing high anxiety, I cry a lot and feel sad. Ugh!!! I was completely fine before I went off the pill. I am a very happy person. Any advice? How long will it take me to return to my old self? Help!!,

It is due to hormonal changes. Generally, it will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
