What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding After Stopping Depo Shots?

i have been in depo shot last august 2016 then after that i stop, when will my fertilty and regular period will come back because last december first week then following again dec.20 till january 8 i have a prolonged period so what does it mean in my cycle? thank you for your further answer.

This should not worry you since this is common scenario after hormonal therapy is stopped. You just need to be patient and your period will stabilize in next 6-8 weeks. It will not affect your fertility or pregnancy chances. If there will be prolonged irregular period then you can consult your gynecologist and have another course of estrogen hormonal therapy but in most cases this wont be necessary.
