Hi I ve been on the depo provera birth control shot and my period hasn t stopped for over a month now. I ve been feeling really tired, sick, and cold the past few weeks and even one day i felt like i was going to pass out and my hands were shaking...do you think i should go to the hospital?

Hi, I think you need some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Consult a gynecologist. Prolonged periods can happen while taking depo shot. Check your hemoglobin level also. Take some iron supplements. If possible, you can use some other methods of contraceptive. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
