What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding Post D&C?

I had a D&C end of October after a miscarriage. I was at 15 weeks. An IUD was inserted during the procedure. I m still feeling the cervix to be quite low and at the entrance of the vagina. I also have had a period/bleeding for the last 3 weeks. Can it be my period still?

Welcome to hcm,
Prolonged bleeding after d& c procedure and iud insertion is common.It will take 2-3 cycles for your period to become normal and regular. Check for IUD tail regularly. If the bleeding is heavy and with clots then consult your doctor to look for any remnants of products of conception.
