What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding While Suffering From PCOS?

I m having pcos 2 months once only I get periods from 3 years.from April 3rd I started my periods and ended on 10th April from 17 the April till today I have prolonged bleeding . Gynae doctor prescribed me deviry 10 mg for 3 times a day for 3 days 2 times a day for next 3 days but my periods has become excessive after taking it so can my bleeding stop

PCOS is known to cause menstrual irregularities including prolonged periods. As a first line management, you can take drugs like tranexamic acid to control bleeding.

If persists better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
