What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

Hi i am April from the Philippines. Since from the last week of the month of July i ve experienced moderate menstruation until now, 20th of September. Can you please help me, for this is my first in my life ive experienced this long period and plus i am not sexually active. please help me , whats wrong with me

Heavy or prolonged periods may be due to structural issues such as fibroids or endometriosis .
They may also be related to abnormal hormone levels.
There are different hormone problems that can cause prolonged periods. Your doctor would need to test for thyroid hormone, FSH, LH.

To find out the cause you would need an ultrasound to take a look along with blood tests to find the exact cause.

Treatment would depend on the cause found.
