Ive had my menstrual period for about two weeks and blood clots are coming out every time i go to the bathroom. The size of quarters in not bigger. I have been to a dr about this before and she had a ultra sound done vaginally and put me on birth control pills and it helped but now i have a different dr. My periods are always irregular. I may have one one month and then skip 3 or 4 months.
Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. From your description it seems like you have a hormonal imbalance. Kindly talk to your gyneac about getting some tests like tsh, LH, fsh, prolactin. Also it is important to go in for cbc, pti, aptt to confirm robust coagulation system. And if she suggests on seeing the ultrasound report kindly ask her if a biopsy is needed from the endometrium. Oral contraceptive pills might be helpful. Sometimes they can regularise the cycle. Sometimes upon stopping them the problem resurfaces. So better to investigate. Thanks.
