What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

I’ve had my period for about an entire month now. This has been my first time having it for a month. My period lasts for about 9 days I think and Ive almost had it for 2 years. I know it could just be my ovaries still getting used to it but I just want to make sure everything is ok. I’m still on my period til this day.
