Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! I have been on my period for over 2 months now. Every single day, no break, and it is just as heavy now as it was on day one. I have had ultrasounds and other tests done as we are trying to conceive and there are no signs of PCOS or anything else that could be wrong in there. I also am not regular. Before this I hadn t had a period since around October, I believe. Need advice on what could be wrong:(
As you explain the situation once the ultrasound is normal the next step is that you should do some hormonal tests such as FSH LH TSH. To exclude or verify problems related to them. Please discuss with your doctor for the above.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
