General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You are nearing perimenopausal age. Hormonal imbalance can b due to that & can be managed with the treatment you are undergoing.
At this age exclusion of other causes of the problem is advised (like uterine, ovarian or cervical problems including malignancy). Please consult a gynecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
