MY 22 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS A LONG PERIOD FOR A MONTH THAN OFF FOR A WEEK THAN STARTS AGAIN SHE IS LOSING WEIGHT NOT HUNGREY. A WELLNESS CLINCI WE TOOK HER TO BECAUSE SHE WORKS FOR A SCHOOL DIST SAID SHE NEEDS TO SEE A OBGYN AND IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH HER OVERIES IS THIS CORRECT.

Thr ptolonged bleeding at her age can be either thretened abortion or some hormonal imbalance.
(Ovarian cyst, pcod ,Thyroid problem or fibroid uterus)
A usg scanning of pelvis would help in pin pointing the cause followed by specific treatment.
Consult a gynecologist.
