What Causes Prolonged Periods While On Metformin And Duphaston?

Hi...I have benn taking Metformin 500mg once daily for my PCOD issue. And from last 3 days I am taking Duphaston 10mg twice daily as my periods are not stopping. It is still not stopped. So kindly advise if I have to discontinue the intake of Metformin inorder to stop my bleeding or continue with Duphaston for few more days. Is it ok of both Metformin and Duphaston is taken together? Thank you,Roni

I really appreciate your concern, the irregular or heavy menses may be due to hormone changes and it may not be due to the medicines taken, but it can be stopped just to rule out the doubt, these both the drug can be take together hope this information helps.
