What Causes Prolonged Spotting After Menstruation Post Delivery?

Hello doctor , I am 26yrs old. I have a 14 month old kid. I usually have irregular periods put normal discharge. After 4months I got my periods this June 12th and it stopped on 19th.But for the past 4 days I have spotting . And that scares me. Is this normal , or what should I do?

Post pregnancy, as it takes time for hormones to come back to normal, such irregular periods and spotting happens. May be in a month or two, things should regularise. So don't have to worry much.
