What Causes Prominent Veins On Upper Chest Area And Arm?

I broke my right collarbone and some ribs about 6 weeks ago. I also broke my left foot so I am immobile. Yesterday I noticed very prominent veins on my right upper chest and down my right arm. I had a cat scan today and they said no blood clots. What could be causing this? I see the shoulder doctor Tuesday.

This is the orthopedic injuries so such symptoms are obvious, if this is being treated accordingly then there would be no symptoms you would have, such injuries may need some surgical interventions, hope this information helps, take care.
