What Causes Puffy Eyes With Apetite Loss After Diverticulitis Treatment?

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis at the ER two weeks ago. The pain was on the right side and mimicked appendicitis. I was given flatulent by iv and sent home with oral amoxicillan. I finished those on ties of this week. I have huge swollen bags under my eyes that will not go down. They started in the last two weeks. I have also lost 20 lbs over the last two months. Just have no appetite. Any idea what the eye bags are from? They make me look sick

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the abdomen or intestine pathology with inflammatory condition then it may cause the oozing of blood or reduces absorption the vitamin and mineral from the food eaten and ultimately this cause the anemia and it is the cause of puffiness below eye in differential diagnosis, renal function needs to be ruled out, hope this information helps.
