I m 59 woman good Heath. Never have children. Not sexually active. About 15 years ago I had precancerous cells inside vagina. I had surgery, cells were frozen. During menopause 10 years ago I experience allot issues with my ovaries. Cysts. I didn t have them removed. Last year in Feb annual exam my pap came back abnormal. I didn t go back 6 month later for another Pap smear. Just stared today the pulsating, tinging out my vagina
Hello. Since you have had a history of precancerous lesions and also an abnormal PAP smear test recently, I would suggest a vaginal exam as well as a repeat PAP test. Pulsating sensation may be because of increased vascularity due to any abnormal growth. Hence, it is especially important to get yourself evaluated. Hope this helps. Regards, Dr Geeta
