General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the metabolites of Lialda are excreted through urine and which are responsible for purple color change upon exposure to atmospheric air via some sort of chemical reaction.

It is advisable to inform your doc office and get further actions in this regard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
