What Causes Purple Veins In The Throat While Suffering From High Fever?
hi, I ve been sick with a high fever and body aches for the past 3 days. My throat just started to hurt today (day 3), so I took a picture with flash on to see what it looks like back there. It s really red, swollen, and there are purple veins sticking out around my tonsils. Is this normal with a cold/flu or should I be concerned?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Most of the times its usually do to viral illness but sometimes it can be due to bacteria. You should visit your physician to have a look at it , it can be follicular tonsillitis that need immediate medication .
