What Causes Pus Oozing Hole In Chest After Radiation Therapy For Cancer?
hi. my grandfather recently went through radiation therapy for lung cancer. he had a tumor coming out of his chest the size of a golf ball. now the tumor is gone, but a gaping hole is there, and puss is coming out. i have a picture if you would like to see. i just need to know if its suppose to be doing that or not.

I will suggest your grandfather to do a CT scan of chest with contrast.
He also needs to do pus culture sensitivity test and depending on sensentivity appropriate antibiotic needs to be started for 7 days.
