What Causes Rapid Heart Rate And Heaviness On Right Side Of Body?

I am experiencing rapid heart rate (first noticed at 123) that has stayed at 116 as per my Fitbit for 2 hours. I also feel like I smell blood in my nose and may feel a tingling on my left side. I had a coffee drinker at about 3:00 but have one maybe 1-2 times a week (otherwise no caffeine). I am shakey and feel heavy on my right side and a thumping feeling in my chest. I don t want to go to ER if it is just caffeine. What do you think?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
thank you for asking your concern. i would suggest you to please go to er. even if it is just a coffee pulse rate can not stay more than 100 for two hours. these all symptoms may suggest as acute gastritis, sudden benign palpitation or panic attack. these all condition are not harmful when it stays for few minutes only but you are feeling it for two hours. most emergency test will be the ECG only which is not causing any pain but it is very helpful. if you are feeling sweating, restless then there is no point in waiting i would strongly suggest you to see a doctor.
