What Causes Rapid Heart Rate Despite Taking Lisinopril For BP?

I have a rapid heart beat (sometimes in the 100 s). My doctor prescribes me medications for high blood pressure such as Lisinipril and Cartia. These were somewhat helpful for a while, but now I am having rates of 110+ regularly for the last few days. Shouldn t I be on a heart beat medication instead of blood pressure?

itis tachycardia for examination and advise on treatment. maybe high BP or medication is responsible. take ECG and consult cardiologist.for clinical examination and advise on treatment.
