What Causes Rapid Heart Rate Upon Exertion And Constant Fatigue?

I am a 22 year old female. Started a few years ago with some trouble breathing...told I had asthma. About a year ago it got worse. The past couple of months, more so. I now experience a pounding heart beat sometimes when I eat, through exertion (something as simple as making up a bed), when watching TV, etc. It doesn t happen every time, and can happen for no reason. I also experience a rapid heart rate, frequent shortness of breath, and constant fatigue. I have been to many different doctors, had many tests, and it is so frustrating...especially when I am told that they can t really find anything wrong.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
For how long you are suffering from it? Any other associated problem? like diabetes or hypertension? Are u running fever? how is your menstrual flow?
Based upon your history it is difficult to interpret. It may be due to anemia. if I am your attending physician I will get your FBC, ESR, LFTs, RFTs. after then I will be able to proceed. There is need to look at your heart, Liver, uterine bleeding and Kidneys for these complaints.
Meet your physician for proper assessment.
Meanwhile stay calm and avoid vigorous activities.
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
