From your history and description, the possibilities I would consider are acute urticaria and viral exanthem Urticaria presents with an itchy rash which is transient. It lasts for a few hours and disappears. It is raised and blotchy. It could be associated with swelling of the eyes and lips as well. It occurs secondary to the infection ( fever) or sometimes as an allergy to a drug that you have taken for the fever. ( antibiotic, anti-fever medication, etc). You can continue to take antihistamine like levocetrizine at bedtime for about 1 week. Viral exanthem is a rash which occurs as a part of the fever. It is in flush with the skin, starts on the face and spreads downwards. It is usually non itchy, but sometimes can itch. It clears spontaneously within 5-7 days. Hope this helps you. Take care.
