My glands swell at random and become extremely painful, I was getting random rashes all over my body and now have been getting sever ear infections. My symptoms are identical to strep but this worsens every couple months. Only on the right side. I have been on antibiotics off and on for about a year now but like clock work happens again. Starts with swollen glands then 2 days later my throat is super painful and dry then my ear hurts. This last time I was forced to go to urgent care and my ear was so bad the antibiotic drops would not go in. I had to lay on my side for hours to let drops soak in. I was out of work for a week and I am afraid I is coming back. Everytime I drink any cold fluids my inner ear is extremely painful. My doc thinks its sinuses but I am not stuffed at all and ever since the body rash a few months ago I have been taking Benadryl daily. My nose airway seems blocked but not congested. What could be causing all this mess?
