What Causes Rashes On Face After Taking Doxycycline And Prednisone?

male 36 was healthy, precribed prednisone for 5 days for sinus infection and avolox, 2 days later numb tingly feet doc removed avalox replaced with doxycyclen 2 days after last prednisone developed face rash has been getting worse for a week is it prednisone related or antibiotic?

I have read your history carefully.
You have not mentioned the appearance, size and exact location of rash of face. Is there any kind of burning or any aggravation while going out in sun?
Prednisone might not have developed the rash as 5 days are too short period for this kind of side effect due to prednisone.
Doxycycline may cause photosensitivity rash if you were exposed in sun while taking doxycycline. Next time, when ever you are out in sun, you should cover your face and use sunscreen lotion.
