Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Rashes On Face, neck And Arm After Having Oral Sex?
I had oral sex with a woman and the next day developed a facial rash that has now covered my neck chest and face and parts of my arms. One time the burning happened immediately upon facial contact with vaginal fluids. Fluconazole helped for as while but it came back in three days after stopping the med. Does HIV rash burn. Does HIV rash appear and BURN IMMEDIATELY after contact with the virus in vaginal fluid that is contacted orally. There was no penal penetration. Is my rash likely to be HIV Rash.
As per my clinical experience, as per the description of onset of rash in concern with oral sex, it does not happen to be of HIV, which takes a long period to show up as rashes. The most common possibility here is Herpes manifestation via unprotected sex, which appeared at face first and later migrated to other subordinate regions of the body.
I would consider you to get examined with your primary care and get necessary treatment commencement ahead for earliest cure.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
