What Causes Rashes On The Body After Receiving A Tuberculosis Test Shot?

In September I started a new job that required a tuberculosis test shot. The first one was fine but the second shot bruised. Now since then I have had 7 patches pop up on my skin that are roundish in shape and vary in size. They start out with a reddish purple outline and a yellowish center (thought it was ring worm at first) then begin to look like bruises. One of them has grown. Is this something I should worry about?

Hello,

You might be having allergic reaction to Tuberculosis shot. It is uncommon but this kind of allergy is possible.

So, it is better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination and start treatment for acute allergic reaction.

You will need injectable Avil and dexona drugs. Local application of steroid cream will also be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
