Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Your child appears to be having laryngomalacia. In laryngomalacia, the muscles of vocal cord are weak and so the child makes stridor like sound, although respiratory rate and heart rate is normal. Laryngomalacia usually gets corrected at 7 to 8 months of age. I hope this has helped you.
