Hi! I went to my primary care physician for vaginal rawness and soreness, no itching. She had me pee (no results given) and reviewed the outside. She said it s just raw. When I asked her if there was anything I could do to mitigate the burning, especially when peeing, she said, No. Just wait it out. She then prescribed me antibiotics. It s been three days since, the antibiotics aren t doing anything, and I m absolutely miserable and barely using the restroom because it burns so bad. Is there anything I can do to relieve the pain and burning besides pain meds?
Sore burning during urination is related to chemical irritation of the skin of vagina. Following measures over and above the use of antibiotics and analgesics such as: - Drink more liquid to dilute the urine - Urinary alkaliser as Potassium Citrate to dilute the urine - Chewable vitamin C tablets
