What Causes Rebound Hyperemia Effect And Dry Eyes?
Hey there. I am male, 25 and I know you deal with this questions allot, but my eye doctor could not answer my question. I used vasconstrictor eye drops for 3 years a few times a day... So I got to learn more about this rebound hyperemia effect and dry eyes. I am of the poison drops now for almost 2 months and things have improved, but it is obvious there is some damage to my arteries in the corners of my eye all the time. (being red pretty much all the time). I visited an eye doc a few days ago and he told my I have dry eyes and should only use natural tears, which is understandable. He also told me it will take MOOOOONTHSSSSSS for the rebound effect to disappear. I asked him how many months, and he could not give me an answer. Now I want to find out, will my eyes get better? How many months? Is the vine damage in the corner of my eyes permanent? I cannot believe OTC eye drops came into this world of us..... And please just tell me the honest truth. Kind regards Rennie

The meaning of vaso constrictor drop is not under stood. they are steroid. It is not recommended so much use. then poison drop is also not under stood. Do not use any such drop. there is no natural tear drop. It can be artificial tear drop. If you have dry eye you can use that drop like refresh tear.
