What Causes Recurrent Acne Despite Using Bactrim?

Hello, I was using bactrim ds for acne and now it s not working any longer. I think it my acne may have become resistant to the antibiotic. I ve stopped taking the bactrim now for 3 months. Can this be reversed and can the bactrim work again? Also I was using solodyn and that stopped working recently. Very frustrated because I m 43yo and extremely tired of this acne nonsense. When will it stop.

You can try clindamycin (clinsin) is a popular brand for symptomatic relief. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
