What Causes Recurrent Dizziness?

I had a dizzy spell, two weeks ago, kinda scared like I didn t know what just happened, I remained still standing, yesterday I was standing in the kitchen, another dizzy feeling I had to hold on to the kitchen counter, still remained standing, I called my doctor, waiting for her to call me back, really Scarry feeling.

Recurrence if at all [God forbid] of dizziness will indicate and illustrate the problem that underlies your complaint. Try not to keep standing if you have it next time. Sit down immediately or preferably lie down.

IT SEEMS THAT THE BLOOD SUPPLY OR THE NUTRIENTS' SUPPLY TO YOUR BRAIN ARE COMPROMISED. MOST PROBABLY YOUR DOCTOR WHEN HE COMES, WILL CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND BLOOD SUGAR . THE LATTER EVEN WHEN RANDOMLY DONE WILL BE A GOOD INDICATOR OF THE UNDERLYING CAUSE. IF THERE'S ANY PROBLEM, HE WILL ASK FOR GASTING.
YES DIABETES IS A RISK FOR DIZZY SPELLS AND SO ALSO IS LOW OR VERY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. NOTHING TO GET SCARED OF.BOTH ARE CURABLE OR LEAST TREATABLE CONDITIONS.
