What Causes Recurrent Fever Along With Body Ache And Nausea?

My husband has had a fever off and on for several days. Now body aches, nausea, and bad headache. He has mentioned his neck feeling like it needs to pop. But he doesn t seem concerned about the neck. He seems to be all around just feeling bad. Should we be concerned? What could it be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
I suggest you to give your husband anti-inflammatory medicine such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
I also recommend taking probiotics daily, drinking liquids and a lot of rest.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
