What Causes Recurrent Fever Despite Taking Antibiotics?

I have been sick since Jan. of 2016. First I had asthma caused by an allergy, then a throat infection & an antibiotic: azithromycin. I had this antibiotic 3 times during the year. I saw a different who gave me a different antibiotic: sulfatrim/sulfamethroxazole. At first it brought the temperature down. For the second day my temperature is going up again. Yesterday: 96.7 Today 98.6. I don t know what kind of doctor could help me. I don t feel any pain anywhere. What should I do6

You should see ENT doctor since this may be resistant bacteria and you may need intravenous therapy. However, it may be becessary to wait for 1-2 days till fever decreases since antibiotics need time to act so you should be patient. Also, take antipiretics regularly.
