What Causes Recurrent Fever, Vomiting And Lethargy In An Infant?
My 12 month old granddadghter has had some vomiting and a fever of over 103 since Wednesday night. My daughter took her to our local ER. They told her she had a stomach bug. Took her home with Zofran. She seemed to be feeling better. This morning she had a fever of 106.7! We gave her a luke warm bath and took her back to the ER. They tested her urine, nothing abnormal. Her chest Xray was also negative. She was sent home again with no answers. Her temperature is under control with Tylenol and Advil. She continues to be lethargic and clammy feeling. She is only drinking pedialite mixed with water. She is crying like she is in pain. PLEASE help!!
It might be sue to some viral infection for which you can give her antibiotic as like zifi-cv or nor-metrogyl after an expert opinion along with syrup nimol-plus or brufen junior for fever. Give syrup vomikind or domstal for vomiting along with polybion or zincovit drops for lethargy.
